The Portland Fermentation Festival is a celebration of all things fermented. OPB’s Think Out Loud speaks with the three “Stinkfest queens” who organize the festival, including Quest Center’s own Heidi Nestler

Quest Center had the pleasure of celebrating the collective achievements our community has made in health and wellness with our 2024 Community Day - a free event open to all.

On July 15th, the Health Justice Recovery Alliance (HJRA) invited local policy-makers to a Roundtable at Quest Center to hear from members of our Indigeninity BHRN. Providers had the opportunity to share personal stories and statistics of the great impacts that Measure 110 dollars have had in furthering our work and outreach efforts.

At Quest Center for Integrative Health, we believe in the fundamental importance of reproductive care and abortion access for all. Access to safe and legal abortion services, reproductive, and gender-affirming care empowers individuals to take control of their bodies, promoting a sense of agency and self-determination that is essential for positive mental and physical well-being.

With a history of service to communities often overlooked and underrepresented, Quest Center is an organization dedicated to the belief that all people deserve competent and compassionate care regardless of income, insurance, gender, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, race, ethnicity, disability, veteran status, HIV status, or chronic health conditions. We believe this commitment must extend beyond our own Quest community here in Portland, OR and to those around the World. We have heard from our Quest community, and we are in unison regarding our concern for Palestinian human rights and the ongoing apparent genocide against Palestinian people. We call on the U.S. Government, and all people of consciousness to stop the genocide of Palestinians.

Our current Board of Directors have been valuable partners, providing unwavering support and guidance to me and our team. From advising our DevComm Department to collaborating closely with Finance, they've been instrumental in our growth journey. Now, as we look to the future, we're eager to welcome fresh perspectives and diverse expertise into our team.

Every Thursday from 5-6:30pm, we welcome clients and staff to our Community Nutrition Night. This is a time to share a meal of wholesome foods, experience the support of our groups, find a sense of belonging and empowerment that comes with being in community. Moving forward, to help keep a clearer list of guests attending Nutrition Night at Quest Center, and in the continued support of our communities outside support systems, we now have a new process for outside guests attending Nutrition Night.

TDOV on March 31st is a day to celebrate the joy and resilience of trans and non-binary communities here and around the world. Quest Center’s DEIJ team compiled some resources to share for staying up-to-date and informed, ways to be allies, and opportunities for engaging in activism that can stretch beyond a single day.
