Celebrating Trans Visibility beyond March 31st
TDOV on March 31st is a day to celebrate the joy and resilience of trans and non-binary communities here and around the world. Quest Center’s DEIJ team compiled some resources to share for staying up-to-date and informed, ways to be allies, and opportunities for engaging in activism that can stretch beyond a single day.

Educate yourself:
As attacks on the LGBTQ+ community continue to gain steam, it is important to get the facts about gender-affirming care. A concerted disinformation campaign is not only behind discriminatory laws but is fueling threats and violence against providers of gender-affirming care, preventing them from supporting the communities they are meant to serve. Familiarize yourself with gender affirming care to facilitate conversations with our colleagues and clients about why gender affirming care is life-saving/essential

Have you ever wanted to speak up for transgender and non-binary youth athletes, but weren’t quite sure what to say?
HRC has created this chatbot in order for you to have persuasive conversations with friends, family and acquaintances about supporting trans and non-binary youth and opposing these discriminatory bills.
Donate $ if able
Donating to regional groups like the Campaign for Southern Equality will ensure that your money is passed along to organizations in the Southeast that are on the front lines opposing these bills. Affiliates of the American Civil Liberties Union also provide guidance about other groups on the ground in every state. (And if you want to help trans people by putting money directly in their pockets, you can search crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe for “trans,” “transgender,” or “transition fund” and give what you can to people who are struggling right now.)
