A coalition of Portland nonprofits that serve or advocate for unhoused LGBTQAI2S+ people, including leading LGBTQAI2S+ groups like Basic Rights Oregon and Pride Northwest, released a first-of-its-kind report on houselessness among transgender and queer people in the Portland area.

From the move into our new building on SE 50th & Powell, new community partnerships, program expansions, updated staff perks, rental and utility assistance, showing up to PRIDE with a bang, and much much more, 2023 was no small feat!

We had the pleasure of sitting down with Eastside Kettlebell Collective co-owner Eloise Hoatlin to speak about her journey in recovery as a former F.S.R. client at Quest Center, how she chose to use her experience to help others as a Certified Drug & Alcohol Counselor, and how she now brings this lens into her mission to increase access to trauma-informed gym spaces.

On September 15th, Quest had the pleasure of hosting a small Celebration event with a few of our long-time supporters. This was an opportunity for Quest to say thank you to those who have continuously lifted us up, and helped to make it possible for us to continue providing life changing services to many of Portland’s most vulnerable populations in our new permanent home.

Quest Center’s Community Affairs & Policy Officer Scott Moore joined Legislators and advocates with the Governor to acknowledge bills protecting access to reproductive and gender affirming care, codifying minimum hospital staffing standards.

On Wednesday, June 14, 2023, Quest Center for Integrative Health celebrated the Grand Opening of our new home at 3231 SE 50th Avenue! The newly remodeled Quest Center Building has increased client capacity by 25 percent, creating access to our broad array of wellness and medical services for 500 new unduplicated clients.

Quest Center and our Indigeninity BHRN partners are hard at work utilizing Measure 110 funds in Multnomah County to provide comprehensive substance use disorder care that is coordinated, accessible, and supports marginalized communities. To celebrate these successes, we will be marching in this year’s Pride Parade with the theme “M110 Dollars: Hard at WERK!”
