Winter Weather Safety in Portland, OR

UPDATE: Quest Center will remain closed to on-site services on through January 18th and 19th due to ice and snow. On-site services will resume on Monday, January 22nd. The safety of our participants and staff are of utmost importance to us. Please stay safe!

Anyone seeking shelter should contact 211info(link is external) by dialing 2-1-1 or 1-866-698-6155.

211info staff are available to identify shelters, warming centers, and review transportation options 24/7 for Multnomah County. 

If you are concerned about someone you see during colder conditions, such as an individual who is not dressed for the weather conditions, call the non-emergency response line at 503-823-3333 and request a welfare check.

If someone is unsheltered and their life appears to be in danger, call 9-1-1 for medical attention.

Our friends at The Equi Institute and Pride Northwest are hosting an LGBTQIA2S+ warming center today 1/12/24 thru 1/14/24 at the Q Center

Through Sunday 1/24/24, The Q Center 4115 N. Mississippi Ave., Portland, OR
Vaccinated staff members will be on site to help all visitors out of the cold and into a warm space. There will also be hot food and coffee available.
