TDOV and Letter Writing!

A huge thank you to everyone who made it out to our Trans Day of Visibility event- we had so much fun celebrating with you!

We traded clothes, ate delicious cupcakes from Unicorn Bake Shop, crafted iron-on patches, learned about trans and gender non-conforming history, and together we wrote 42 letters to Oregon legislators who influence policies that affect the lives and in many cases, endanger the lives of the Trans Community.

If you weren't able to make it to the event, you can still join in our efforts! Here is a link to a website that generates sample scripts to legislators in response to harmful House and Senate Bills: https://www.tracktranslegislation.com/script-generator
