Living with ADHD
Day/Time: Tuesdays, 3:30-5:00 pm
Start Date: 9/30/25 for 9 weeks
Location: In Person, Room 201
Facilitators:
Derrica Moser (she/her) LPC-A, MA, QMHP, Mental Health Therapist: Derrica identifies as Neurodivergent and as such, works to infuse education, support and celebration of all experiences for those who are non Neuro-preferred, especially in the therapeutic space. Derrica understands that systemic oppression and our phenomenological worlds inform choice, behavior, health and ability and as such, she focuses on anti-oppressive and decolonized methods and techniques.
Laura Schneiter (she/her) LPC-A, CADC-R, Mental Health Therapist: Supporting those living with ADHD. Laura operates from a place of compassion and curiosity, and enjoys the *magic* that comes out of group work.
About: โImagine trying to thread a needle, in low light, while sitting in a row boat in the ocean - the waves tossing and rolling all the time. The amount of concentration required to thread that needle makes us anxious, tense, and irritable - as if somebody were asking us questions while we were trying to thread that needle.โ - Joseph M. Carver PhD
This group is an open invitation to those who identify as living with ADHD who wish to learn in community about what ADHD is, how it presents, implement supportive skills and to celebrate the expansive way the ADHD mind works.
