Expressive Writing

Day/Time: Tuesdays, 3:30-5:00pm

Facilitators: Katie Borofka: MPH, LCSW, CST (she/her): Katie is a queer cis woman with a deep commitment to creating therapeutic spaces for exploring pleasure, sexuality, gender, relationship health, and identity integration.

About: A writer is someone who writes! In this 7-week group, we will gather together to write. Expressive writing, especially on a regular basis, has been shown to alleviate many mental, emotional, and physical symptoms of stress and trauma. Following brief check ins, we will write for 30 minutes, and end with brief reflections on your experience of writing (you will never be asked to read what you wrote about!). 

Open to program participants of: Mental Health at Quest as well as members of the community receiving Mental Health services elsewhere
