New: Kaiser Medical Financial Assistance
Kaiser’s new MFA program helps qualified low-income, uninsured, and underinsured patients pay for eligible medical care they have already received from Kaiser Permanente or for emergency care they are currently seeking. Patients must apply and meet the eligibility requirements to qualify. MFA is not an insurance plan; it’s intended as short-term support for patients who are unable to pay their portion of emergency or medically necessary care received at Kaiser Permanente.

Who is eligible for MFA?

Patients who have already received care or are currently seeking emergency medical care and who are not able to pay may be eligible for MFA. Eligibility is based on financial need.

You can refer to our website for the most current application or contact Member Services at 800-813-2000 Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
