Equine Wellness Grant

Thanks to the Students at Century High School for choosing our Equine Wellness Program for the OCF Community 101 Grant!

Our FSR program has partnered with Forward Stride, offering clients the opportunity to work alongside horses while being in a therapeutic space. Forward Stride’s Equine Therapy allows clients to form mutual and beneficial relationships through activities like walking, grooming, and even riding. Clients have reported reductions in stress, anxiety, and isolation, and an increase in positive mental health outcomes, which is extremely vital to long term recovery. This group has been described by clients as, “empowering and transformative.”

Thanks to this grant, Quest will be able to offer another round of this life-changing initiative for up to 10 FSR clients.
