Quest Center stands with our immigrant population

Dear Community,

Quest Center’s work has always been grounded in serving communities that are too often marginalized and harmed by systems of inequity.

The primary communities we exist to serve are LGBTQIA2S+ people, low-income individuals, and people living with HIV. Many live at the intersection of these identities, navigating layered experiences often shaped by discrimination, exclusion, and systemic barriers to safety and care. We recognize that immigration status, like gender identity, race, income, or health status, is often used to deny people their humanity and their right to thrive. When immigrants are targeted, the people we serve are impacted. Our commitment to the populations that we serve requires us to name this harm and to actively oppose it.

Unequivocally, Quest Center stands with our immigrant population. You belong here. You are valued, you are seen, and you are deserving of safety, dignity, and care, without exception. We work hard to create a place of healing that is an inclusive, empowering, affirming, and safe. Hate speech, harassment, and discrimination of any kind are not tolerated in our spaces. This boundary is essential to the safety and well-being of our community.

Our commitment to this boundary is rooted in our values, and each day, we work to ensure that these values are reflected in our actions.

Empowerment & Respect
We support people on their journeys through empowerment and mutual respect. We value open communication at all levels and believe that healing is strongest when people are trusted, heard, and affirmed.

Community
We are a nurturing community—internally and externally—where people are supported in making safe, meaningful connections, feel valued, and are held accountable to our shared mission and vision.

People First
We serve our community by recognizing each individual. We actively support our team members and clients across all dimensions of growth and care through individualized plans and accommodations, honoring the whole life of every person we serve.

Human Rights for All
We actively advocate for the human rights of all people. We are committed to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in our workplace, our services, and our broader communities.

In moments of uncertainty and fear, solidarity matters. We will continue to show up, to speak out, and to build spaces where our communities can heal, thrive, and feel safe.

With respect and solidarity,
Quest Center
