Emergency Rent Assistance and New Safe Harbor Law

1. The Oregon Emergency Rent Application Portal will be reopening for a short few weeks on January 26th. Folx are eligible to receive up to 15 mos of rent (read for more details). Here are two links about eligibility and the few documents you will need to verify identity, rent, income, and residency for the application (not open until Jan 26).

2. Also linked is tenant resources and information on the new Safe Harbor rules (for example, if you have applied for any emergency rental assistance program and have provided documentation to your landlord, you can not be evicted before July 1, 2022 while the app is in the process)

Quest will be holding office hours for folks who are in need of computer use/ assistance in order to apply. We will release more details about this process next week.
