Mental Health Therapist
Hi there! My name is Mason, and I am a mental health therapist on the team at Quest. I believe that therapy is a joint endeavor to support you to help achieve your goals. I work from a relational standpoint and strongly believe in the power of creating a stronger, safer, and trusting space where you can feel empowered to learn and grow. I integrate trauma-informed care into my approach to center safety, transparency, collaboration, empowerment, and other forms of support that are culturally and gender responsive. I also hope to bring a sense of play, joy, and softness to the therapeutic experience.
I am currently a Professional Counselor Associate working towards licensure, under the supervision of Mara Burmeister and Hillary Reno. I received my BA in 2015 and graduated with a master's degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling in 2025. I am a gay, white, cis man with lived experience in the queer community. I intentionally weave together evidence and relational-based techniques such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gestalt, psychodynamic, somatic, and ecotherapy. When I’m outside of the office, I enjoy hanging out with my two cats (they are brothers!), playing with clay, bike rides, and immersing myself in nature.
