Mental Health Therapist

I am a queer, white, cis, neurodivergent person with a belief in compassionate action and a commitment to serving my community. I believe that it is through our relationships that we make sense of ourselves and the world around us. It is also through relationships that we heal and grow. I hope to build a strong therapeutic relationship with each client that is characterized by empathy, understanding, and respect.

Additionally, I recognize the socio-cultural and environmental contexts that we exist within and have been impacted by. I take a trauma-informed, client-centered approach that integrates various modalities in response to your unique needs and goals. Some of these approaches may include, but are not limited to: Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

I am a Professional Counselor Associate working towards licensure, under the supervision of Hillary Reno. I hold a Master of Counseling degree from Oregon State University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska. I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) honor society, and the Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities (SAIGE). Outside of work, I enjoy making art, birding, marveling at the natural world, and being with my loved ones.
