Mental Health Intern

Curiosity is the driving force of my life. I love to explore the deeper aspects of the human experience. I continue to study and to follow my passion for meeting the edges of the unknown, and to learn. As a therapist, I support folks in creating health and transformation, building resilience, understanding chronic conditions, and reconnecting with earth and body. I utilize many different tools that have come from my training in Body Psychotherapy modalities (like Somatic Experiencing®, Core Energetics and Hakomi), Interpersonal Neurobiology, and specialized trauma care.

I use a holistic approach in the renegotiation of trauma and mental wellness. I think of the renegotiation of trauma as an important individual endeavor and as inseparable from the healing of larger structures we exist in and create. Our individual health is not separate from the health of the land, our community, relationships, and the structures we live in. As we change the structures and policies that are making us sick, we also take good care of ourselves and our communities, knowing that our individual liberation and care are part of the whole.

Licensure:  I am a graduate student intern enrolled in the Clinical Psychology PhD program at Pacifica Graduate Institute, working under the clinical supervision of Dr. Lusijah Marx. I hold an MA in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology. I am also a licensed Naturopath in the state of Oregon and a Somatic Experiencing practitioner who specializes in working with Anxiety, Depression, Chronic Illness, Racialized Trauma, Intergenerational Trauma, and End of Life Support/Hospice. In my free time I enjoy learning, playing, dancing, listening to music and making or experiencing art.
