Trans Day of Visibility - March 31

Today is National Trans Day of Visibility, a day that continues to be of the utmost importance in recognizing the vibrant, diverse, and resilient transgender and gender diverse communities.

Now more than ever before, this day calls for action, as trans-identified communities, especially trans youth, are under attack. With HB 1557, otherwise known as the "Don't Say Gay" bill, having been signed into law in Florida, the threats of persecution of families that support and affirm their children in Texas, and the 310 acts of anti-LGBTQI2AS+ legislature that are being monitored by the Human Rights Campaign, the dedication to the protection and support of these communities is vital.

We stand with our trans and gender-diverse communities in the fight for their right to exist authentically, even just to exist period. We must continue to strive not only for visibility, but also for existence without fear.
