Off-Site Lead Acupuncturist
Krista A Bargsten is an acupuncturist with Quest Center for Integrative Health, where she works both on-site at Multnomah and off-site in community acupuncture clinics.
Born and raised in the upper Midwest, Krista studied studio and video arts at Hampshire College in western Massachusetts. Later, she went on to study classical Chinese medicine at National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon where she focused on acupuncture and community clinics, and learned Jinjing Gong Qigong with Bill Frazier.
Prior to Quest Center, Krista interned at OHSU's Richmond Clinic; Sunnyside Health Center in Clackamas County; the Outside In acupuncture clinic; and has worked as an acupuncturist at Central City Concern's Old Town Clinic, Letting Owings Treatment Center, and Hooper Detoxification and Stabilization Center.
