Heidi Nestler, (she/her) Personal Chef, Nutrition Program Coordinator: Heidi is a personal chef and the Nutrition Night Coordinator here at Quest. She studied fermentation and other ancestral dietary principles in the United States and Japan.
James Vergara, (he/him) MS, Culinary Nutritionist: From micro to macro, James combines his background in microbiology with recent skills as a chef to implement medical nutrition therapies through the modality of community cooking. His goal is to foster the relationship between clean cooking and a lifetime of food knowledge to promote one's best self.
About: Nutrition Night is a time of coming together in community, for learning about healthy cooking AND eating, and to support oneself in a healthy lifestyle. Come explore the connection between the foods we eat and how it can affect our wellbeing and health. Our meals are based on wholesome foods ~ whole grains, fresh vegetables and fruits, and high quality proteins.
