Licensed Clinical Psychologist / Co-Founder / Clinical Supervisor

I have a deep belief in the human spirit and the wisdom within each of us to heal.  I believe that therapy can provide an experience that helps one connect with inner wisdom, while developing skills and perspective that can change one’s life in very important ways. With warmth, compassion, experience, wisdom and creativity I will explore with you issues and problems that you face today, as well as the past experiences and beliefs. All those experience that create limiting habits of thought, feelings and actions. In a supportive, accepting therapeutic relationship, we identify behaviors that are distressing to you, explore how past events impact the present, develop insight and coping strategies, discover meaning and find clarity and guidance.

I am a clinical psychologist and psychiatric nurse practitioner with more than 35 years of clinical experience working with people with a broad spectrum of issues, including those affected by long-term, life threatening chronic illness, particularly HIV, cancer, and pain. I work with individuals, couples, and groups and have in depth experience with the LGBTQ community. My clinical specialties include trauma, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life transitions. I use mindfulness, guided imagery, hypnosis, EMDR to provide short-term or in depth therapy. I use the principles from neuroscience and Positive Psychology as a foundation for my approach. I am the co-founder of Quest Center for Integrative Health.
