Derrica Moser believes in the innate resilience of the human spirit and that all are capable of finding their inner strength and peace. Derrica understands that systemic oppression and our phenomenological worlds inform choice, behavior, health and ability and as such, she focuses on anti-oppressive and decolonized methods and techniques. She is passionate about being of service to the LQBTQIA2S+ community as well as the greater Portland area community.

Derrica received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University and her undergraduate education from Otterbein College. Derrica specializes in grief, loss, death and dying, disordered eating, ADHD,  intersection of identity, and takes an active social justice focus in her work. She is guided by trauma-informed approaches as well as Health at Every Size (HAES) to her work. Derrica takes a flexible and client-centered approach to techniques and theories based on need while offering EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy all with an eclectic approach.

Derrica gathers her own inner strength and peace from the vibrance of community and the divinity of nature.
