Lindsey Kennedy, CADCI

I am a cis, queer female who transplanted to Portland in 2012 after working in wilderness therapy for 3 years. What brings me to Quest? The community of staff and clients are inspiring, intelligent and fun!  As an addictions counselor I work collaboratively with clients and the Quest team to help provide tailored treatment. I strongly believe we are all on our own path and they may cross at times, but everyone has their own goals, desires and treatment outcomes.  We try to provide a holistic approach to an individual's treatment by focusing on their behavioral health, their community and helping them have a stronger concept of themselves.

When I am not working- I am walking my Pit/Lab mix, travelling with my wife, working on our tiny home, playing soccer, camping/adventuring or at times relaxing with a book or practicing yoga.  While getting my CADC I, I am also pursuing a certificate in Horticultural Therapy (working with nature based concepts or plant based materials in a therapeutic setting).  My hope is to incorporate my HTR knowledge with the individuals I work with and groups I facilitate.
