SEVERE WEATHER SHELTER SCHEDULE
The Severe Weather Shelter Response Plan operates countywide to provide temporary overnight shelter for homeless persons beginning November 1 and closing March 31. The latest shelter schedule is attached and is available online at www.co.washington.or.us/homeless
PROJECT HOMELESS CONNECT: 1/25/2019
Project Homeless Connect is a one-day event that brings together services under “one roof” at Sonrise Church in Hillsboro. Please post and share with homeless seeking services the attached flyers provided in English and Spanish. Additional information is available online at http://phcwashco.org/
Community Connect is a coordinated entry system that helps people experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness to find housing resources in Washington County, Oregon. The access phone is 503-640-3263. Individuals and families who want help with housing should call the Community Connect access number to discuss their situation and what help is available. A list of partner organizations providing housing and services aligned with the Community Connect system is available online at https://www.co.washington.or.us/Housing/EndHomelessness/community-connect.cfm
HOUSING AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES NETWORK
A collaborative network of more than 60 public and private agencies working collectively to address the special needs of homeless populations meet monthly to plan, coordinate, develop, and implement housing and services. The meetings are open to the public and we welcome all voices at the table to work for innovative solutions to the socioeconomic factors that lead to homelessness.
